New housing must come with new services

The Government’s imposed housebuilding targets mean that we will see 26,000 new homes built across Westmorland and Furness over the next 20 years.

It is absolutely vital that these new homes are not only affordable, but that they come with the extra services needed to support an increase in our population – whether that’s new GP practices, dental surgeries, schools, or bus services.

This is surely common sense.
