CANCER CARE TRIATHLON LAUNCH

Local MP Tim Farron will launch the fundraising campaign for his sponsored triathlon in support of CancerCare. The triathlon will take place on the 11th July.

Mr Farron will be raising sponsorship for CancerCare South Lakes, who are hoping to get enough funding for their much needed building project in Kendal.

"On 11th July I'll be running, rowing and riding my way from the north to the south of my large constituency to raise money for CancerCare South Lakes. CancerCare's new building will be a huge blessing to our community.

"I'm delighted to be supporting Cancer Care and I'd encourage anyone near the birdcage in Kendal tomorrow to pay us a visit and give generously to this worthy cause. If you are available to join me on the Triathlon and want to raise money then please sign up- mind you I should warn you, that I will be in my running shorts!"
