Deadline looms for local election registration

With the local elections just four weeks away, local MP Tim Farron is urging local people to register to vote. The deadline for those who have not registered is midnight tonight.
To register to vote, go to www.gov.uk/register-to-vote
Tim said: "The elections to Cumbria County Council in three weeks' time are an important opportunity to choose our local representatives. The Lib Dems are standing up for our area and fighting for local health and care services in the face of massive cuts from the Conservative government.
"Registering to vote is quick and easy, and means you can make your voice heard about local issues. Take five minutes of your time and register to vote by midnight tonight!"
