Farron calls for Torchlight volunteers
South Lakeland MP Tim Farron has made a plea to local people to volunteer as marshals at this year's Kendal Torchlight Carnival.
This year's event is scheduled to take place on the 9th September. However, the event organisers are still looking for volunteers to help out as marshals, to enable the event to go ahead.
