Free School Meals u-turn a victory for decency, compassion and common sense - MP

Responding to the news that the Government will now extend the Free School Meal voucher system over the summer, South Lakes MP Tim Farron said: "This is a victory for decency, compassion and common sense.
"Marcus Rashford has played an absolute blinder over the past 24 hours with this campaign and I am eternally grateful to him in forcing the Government's hand to do the right thing.
"We will continue to fight to make sure that this system delivers better than it has done so far for the hundreds of thousands of families that need it."
