MP backs Marcus Rashford’s call for Government u-turn on Free School Meals

Responding to today's open letter to all MPs from England and Manchester United footballer Marcus Rashford, South Lakes MP Tim Farron said: "I am 100% behind Marcus Rashford who has led by example with his kindness and generosity.
"Marcus has been an inspiration throughout this crisis, helping to raise over £20m to help supply food to vulnerable children in the UK.
"Last week I signed a cross-party letter calling for the Government to extend the Free School Meals vouchers over the summer.
"Allowing hundreds of thousands of children to go hungry this summer is cruel and heartless - the Government must change their mind."
