MP celebrates English Tourism Week with tour of South Lakes attractions

Local MP Tim Farron has celebrated English Tourism Week with a range of visits to local tourist attractions.
Tim spent the morning on a Windermere Lakes Cruise, then given a tour around Wray Castle, took a ride on a Mountain Goat tour and finished with a visit to Holgates Silverdale Caravan Park.
Tim said: "I had an absolutely brilliant day being given tours of some of our exceptional tourist attractions.
"We are incredibly lucky to have a world-class tourism destination right on our doorstep - the most popular outside of London.
"I want to use English Tourism Week to say a massive thank you to everyone who works so hard to make our area one of the top places to visit in the world."
