MP delighted at success of bus surgery

Last Friday morning saw local MP Tim Farron hold an advice surgery on Kendal's buses. This was organised to help publicise the new bus timetable, the use of public transport, but also to find out people's concerns. Tim travelled on four different services throughout Kendal and the surrounding area meeting with local people.

Tim commented: "I am pleased that this advice surgery went so well. It was a great opportunity to meet people who may not ordinarily attend one of my more formal surgeries. I took away lots of casework and ideas from people about how to improve their local area. I hope I will be able to hold more advice surgeries like this".
