MP heralds 'amazing' Mintfest

South Lakes MP Tim Farron has this morning praised Lakes Alive, the team behind Mintfest & everyone involved for an 'amazing' event. Tim said the 3 day extravaganza was 'an absolute triumph'.
Mintfest 2014 saw more than 60 artistic companies arrive from across the UK, Europe and beyond.
Tim said: "Mintfest is the high point in the cultural calendar of the South Lakes. Mintfest has everything and offers 3 days of fun and excitement. It really puts our area on the map and puts Kendal in the shop window as a major arts hub.
"I want to pay tribute to Julie Tait and everyone involved with the organisation of this event. Mintfest 2014 was an absolute triumph!"
