MP: 'Kendal hosts yet another successful Mintfest'

Kendal Mintfest 2013 brought Kendal a mix of over 150 spectacular local and international outdoor entertainers to the streets and has been heralded as a 'major success' by local MP Tim Farron.

Tim commented: 'Mintfest is always a brilliant event for Kendal. It's exciting to see the streets bursting with entertainers and spectators and this year certainly did not disappoint. The festival always displays something for everyone while still exploring and extending the boundaries of street entertainment, my children loved it and I'm sure it will have been a fantastic boost for local businesses."
