MP launches on-line youth survey

22 May 2012

Local MP Tim Farron has launched a survey for young people in the South Lakes

The aim of the survey is to find out how young people feel about living in theSouthLakes, what their priorities are and how they would like to change things.

Many young people approach Tim about issues, such as wanting a new skatepark. After a long campaign led by young people, the skatepark should be built this summer. Tim hopes that through the survey, more young people will be able to express their views and aspirations for theSouthLakes.

Tim commented: "Knowing young people's concerns and priorities will allow me to continue to campaign on the issues that matter to them. As an MP, I am able to make a difference and change things for the better in the South Lakes - but I can't do this without the help of young people! I would be really grateful if people could complete this survey and I look forward to seeing the results."
