MP – McDonalds youth surgery a big success

On Friday, South Lakes MP Tim Farron held a youth surgery in McDonalds as part of his regular work to engage with young people in Kendal.

The event was a big success with lots of young people stopping by to talk to Tim about a range of subjects including the lack of job opportunities and the need for more night clubs in the town centre.

Tim said: "The surgery was a great opportunity to hear about the issues that are important to young people in our area.

"They have thoughtful and considered views on local and national issues that deserve as much attention as those of older constituents.

"I have listened closely to all of their fantastic suggestions and will work hard to action as many of these as possible."
