MP opens new bar and post office at Heron Hill Care Home

On Thursday (1st March) local MP Tim Farron officially opened the new bar and post office at Heron Hill Care Home in Kendal
This follows a positive week for the care home, with the latest CQC inspection taking it out of special measures and its kitchen staff being awarded South Lakeland District Council's Healthier Menus award.
Tim said: "It was really great to open the new bar and post office at Heron Hill Care Home.
"These are great steps in making Heron Hill genuinely feel like home for people.
"This gives people a chance to socialise together and gives the place an even warmer feel."
