MP Praises 'Outstanding' Local Surgery

South Lakes MP Tim Farron has written to a local GP surgery to congratulate them on being rated 'outstanding' in a recent inspection.
The Cartmel Surgery was rated as 'outstanding' this week by national inspectors, with their "caring" and "responsive" services highlighted for particular praise.
Tim said: "When people fall ill or need to see a doctor, they want to know they will receive the best possible medical attention in a caring environment. Thanks to the dedication and professionalism of the medical staff at the Cartmel Surgery, local residents can be confident they will receive the best possible standard of care. My thanks and congratulations go to all the staff for their hard work in providing such an excellent service."
