MP praises students as GCSE results announced

South Lakes MP Tim Farron has offered his congratulations to the area's students on their GCSE results this morning.
Tim said: "Congratulations to all those students in South Lakeland who have received good GCSE results today.
"I know just how hard pupils and staff work to get the best exam results and today is a very important and sometimes nerve-wracking day.
"I wish all students the very best for their future plans be it work, apprenticeship or further studies over the years ahead."
