MP says GCSE results are testament to local young people's 'commitment, determination and hard work'

South Lakes MP Tim Farron has offered his congratulations to the area's students on their GCSE results this morning.
Thousands of young people throughout Cumbria have received their exam results today.
Tim said: "Today's results are a tribute to the fantastic effort of the students, teachers, support staff and parents. I want to congratulate everyone this morning for their great GCSE results. I know from the fantastic students that come and help in my office that the South Lakes has wonderful young people and the results this morning are testament to their commitment, determination and hard work."
