MP shows support for nurses on strike at Westmorland General Hospital

Yesterday morning, Cumbrian MP Tim Farron visited nursing staff outside Kendal's Westmorland General Hospital who are on strike.
Tim said: "It was a privilege to spend time with nurses who are striking outside Westmorland General Hospital yesterday.
"During the pandemic and beyond, nurses in the NHS have worked tirelessly to care for our loved ones and to save lives.
"It's time that the Government shows how much our society values the incredible work nurses do, by paying nursing staff a fair and decent wage.
"They have my full support."
