MP Takes Part In Kendal Colour Dash

Westmorland and Lonsdale MP Tim Farron participated in the Kendal Colour Dash on Sunday.

The 5km run, which is in its second year, started at Kirkbie Kendal School and goes around Kendal Castle. The run was in aid of St John's Hospice. There were over 1000 participants.

Tim said: "The Colour Dash was a fun event for all the family, to raise money for a very worthy cause. The event was a great success, and it was fantastic to see how much it had grown since last year. It is testament to the community spirit of our area that so many local people turned up and took part. My thanks go to all those who were involved in the organisation of this event."
