MP to host virtual Q&A event with constituents this Friday
This Friday (5th) at 7pm, local MP Tim Farron will be holding an online question and answer for constituents in Westmorland and Lonsdale.
People can register for the Q&A by heading to www.timfarron.co.uk/virtualtownhall
Tim said: "In more normal times I regularly hold open public meetings in town halls and village halls across the South Lakes to give local residents the chance to ask questions and put their thoughts to me.
"On Friday, given social distancing, I'm taking these meetings online with a 'Virtual Town Hall' question and answer session.
"It's a difficult time for many of us at the moment, with all the uncertainty brought by the epidemic. You might have questions or concerns about Coronavirus, or about anything else for that matter.
"As our Member of Parliament it's my job to listen to those concerns and represent your views in Parliament.
"As ever, the meeting is open to everyone - I'd love to see you there!"
