MP Wishes Rowing Club Luck As Council Funds New Trailer

Thanks to a trailer funded by the district council, Windermere Rowing Club members will be able to compete in competitions. South Lakes MP Tim Farron has written to the club to wish them luck in their upcoming races.

The new boat trailer will enable the club to transport their boats to races and compete against other clubs.

Tim said: "I am delighted that the district council has provided funds to enable the rowing club to buy this trailer. The rowing club enables local people to stay fit and active while enjoying the beautiful scenery of our area. I hope these funds from the council will help the club to grow and thrive so that even more people can benefit from it. I'd like to wish all rowers at the club the very best of luck in all their upcoming races."
