Tim Farron to host Q&A in Appleby next week
Next Thursday evening (February 1st), people in Appleby will have the opportunity to grill Tim Farron - the Liberal Democrat candidate to become their next MP.
Tim will be hosting a Q&A session in the Supper Room at Appleby Public Hall from 7pm.
No booking is required to attend and everyone is welcome.
The recent parliamentary boundary changes means that Appleby will be part of Westmorland and Lonsdale, where Tim is the current MP, at this year’s General Election.
Speaking ahead of the event, Tim said: “As your Liberal Democrat candidate at the next General Election, this is your chance to quiz me on any topic you like - no matter how big or small.
“Being an effective MP is all about getting alongside local people and serving them. The best way to do that is to hear about the issues that really matter to you.
“I look forward to hopefully seeing you next Thursday!”
