During a visit to the annual Grasmere Guzzler beer festival on Saturday, South Lakes MP Tim Farron called on the Government to protect local pubs in Cumbria.
The Lake District National Park Authority have slammed the Government's decision to cancel the proposed electrification of the lakes line.
South Lakes MP Tim Farron has today blasted the Government's decision to meet exclusively with big city mayors to discuss Northern Powerhouse plans as "outrageous" and "foolish".
Following the news this week that the New Road car park is to close, local MP Tim Farron has called for its replacement at Beezon Fields to be free-of-charge for drivers.
The MP for Westmorland and Lonsdale will be attending the annual Grasmere Guzzler festival this Saturday afternoon.
Local MP Tim Farron will visit the car park at New Road in Kendal on Tuesday morning from 7.30am to listen to resident's concerns about the removal of cars from the site following issues over safety.
