MP Tim Farron has hailed a 'major step forward' in the campaign to deal with the long running flooding issues by the railway bridge at Parkside Road.  Tim has praised local campaigner Chris Hogg for leading the community campaign to fix the flooding

£65k secured to fix Parkside Road flooding

South Lakes MP Tim Farron has welcomed the news that councillors have approved £65,000 to fund the scheme to deal with the flooding on Parkside Road. Tim has thanked Clare Feeney-Johnson, Chris Hogg and Shirley Evans for their 'unstinting' work on this issue over many years.
