Farron 'confident' that a buyer can be found for Westmorland shopping centre
A buyer is being sought for the Westmorland Shopping Centre in Kendal after its owner fell into administration. Tim Farron has offered to help in any way he can and has stressed that the shopping centre and it's outlets remain open while the joint administrators seek a purchaser.

Biggest pension changes in 100 years come into force today
Tim Farron and the Liberal Democrats are delivering the largest overhaul of the pensions system in almost a century, giving people the freedom to take control of their own pension. Tim also heralded the fact that because of our 'Triple Lock Guarantee' the state pension is £950 higher than 2010.
