South Lakes MP Tim Farron has commented on figures that show that 51 operations a month are being cancelled at the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust. Tim has said that these figures are unacceptable.
Plans are under way for a third Kendal Wool Gathering next year, with the event delayed a couple of weeks. The event will provisionally be held over the weekend of 24 and 25 October 2015. The announcement has been welcomed by South Lakes MP Tim Farron.
