MP Tim Farron has written to the Chief Executive of the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust to ask for his reassurance that national figures released showing massive job losses in the NHS over the last month will not be mirrored here.
Last Friday morning saw local MP Tim Farron hold an advice surgery on Kendal's buses. This was organised to help publicise the new bus timetable, the use of public transport, but also to find out people's concerns. Tim travelled on four different services throughout Kendal and the surrounding area meeting with local people.

Tim is expecting to be up until possibly 7am tomorrow morning as voting takes place on the ID Cards Bill. The majority of letters in Tim's post bag on this subject have agreed with his position to oppose the introduction of the cards.
